Business Development Manager

The Role: Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, this role will involve efficiently and effectively managing and converting new business prospects from your own business development sales strategies and an internal lead acquisition team.

We will value and reward your genuine desire to prioritise your prospects’ needs, your ability to create detailed proposals in conjunction with the pre-sales team, and your talent for closing new business opportunities.

To Be Successful:

  • You’ll need to be an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong knowledge of the IT industry selling infrastructure services, products and solutions to SME organisations (50+ users), focusing on Microsoft Cloud technologies.
  • You should have exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to build trust and demonstrate integrity.
  • You will need to demonstrate strong business acumen and have a solid understanding of how businesses can resolve issues through technology, whilst being able to articulate the benefits of cloud solutions to prospective clients.
  • You’ll need to understand and contribute to marketing activities that will attract and close sales.
  • The desire to build a sale team and provide coaching and mentoring to assist colleagues development.
  • You need a valid driving license, which is essential for travel.

Location: This role will be predominantly remote with travel to customers. Therefore, you will need to be located within the Worcestershire, West Midlands area.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with some flexibility available.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary from 40k per annum based on your previous experience and proven track record.
  • OTE from £74,000 – uncapped.
  • Including generous car allowance (approx. £5,000 per annum)
